Sir Paul grew up in south London where his father was a teacher. He went to a local primary school before passing his 11+ to go to St Dunstan's College in Catford. He then received an Open Scholarship to Trinity College, Cambridge where he studied Natural Sciences and Management Studies. He was awarded a Thouron Fellowship which enabled him to go to the Wharton Business School of the University of Pennsylvania where he gained his MBA.
He had a successful career with Cadbury Schweppes where he was Managing Director of Cadbury Schweppes Kenya and of Cadbury Typhoo and became Group Planning Director. He then initiated and led the buyout of the UK, Irish and French food businesses of Cadbury Schweppes to form Premier Brands. After selling Premier Brands, he moved into the public and political sectors where he was Chairman of Food from Britain, Director General of the Conservative Party from 1992 until 1995 and then a Ministerial Adviser at the Cabinet Office. More recently he has been President of the Chartered Management Institute and Chairman of the Royal Society of Arts and of Teachers TV.
He currently holds a number of Board positions in international companies and is very involved in education as President of the Chartered Institute of Marketing and of the Association of MBAs, as Chairman of the Enterprise Education Trust and of St Dunstan's College and as Deputy Chairman of the American Management Association in New York. Sir Paul is a Freeman of the City of London, a Fellow of the Royal Society of Arts, of the Institute of Directors and of the Marketing Society and a Companion of the Chartered Management Institute. He holds honorary degrees from Cambridge, City and Westminster universities and became a Knight Bachelor in recognition of his public and political service. He was the key benefactor of the Judge Business School at the University of Cambridge.
Robin Tilbrook
Chairman English Democrats & Alliance for Democracy

Born in 1958 in Malaysia, Robin is a Solicitor he attended Wellington College in Berkshire. Robin founded the English National Party in 1997, by 2002 he organised with several other small English Nationalist parties to re-launch the party as the English Democrats. Robin has stood for Election as a Councillor on several occasions as the lead candidate for the English Democrats for the European Elections in 2004 and 2009 and as a parliamentary Candidate for Epping Forest in 2005. Robin lives in Essex with his wife Clare and has 3 Children. Robin has been re-elected unopposed as National Chairman on four successive occasions by the General Membership.
Elaine Cheeseman
Treasurer English Democrats & Alliance for Democracy

Elaine commenced her career in 1977 at XXIV Old Buildings where she rose to become Senior Clerk by the end of 1983. In 1988 she took a lengthy career break to have her family, returning part-time to Lincolns Inn in 1999, and by 2000 was back at XXIV as PA to the Silks/Chambers Administrator. She was subsequently involved in the setting up of Selborne Chambers in 2002 and has most recently been at Pump Court Tax Chambers, dealing with Chambers finance as well as the running of their Seminars/Conferences. She joined Falcon Chambers in February 2007.
Elaine has three teenage sons and is currently Chair of Governors at their former primary school. She takes a keen interest in local affairs and stood as an independent candidate in the local elections in May 2006 (unsuccessfully!).
When time allows, Elaine enjoys music and the theatre, both performing as well as being in the audience. She also enjoys dining out whenever possible plus exercising her culinary skills entertaining on the home front
Steve Uncles
Campaign Manager English Democrats & Alliance for Democracy

Born in 1964 in Blackheath, London, Steven is an Interim Project Manager, specialising in PFI, Facilities Management and Medical Equipment. Steven attended Chislehurst & Sidcup Grammar School and studied Electrical Engineering at University. Steven joined the English Democrats in 2003, since this time Steven has led the development of the National Structure of the Party and the English Democrats 5 Year Election Strategy. Steven has stood several times for election as a Councillor, and as the lead Candidate in the 2004 & 2009 European Elections (South East), 2006 Bromley & Chislehurst Parliamentary By-Election, and the 2007 Welsh Assembly Elections on the South Wales East Party List. Steven is standing in the 2008 London Elections as the Constituency Candidate in Bexley & Bromley and No 2 on the London Party List. Steven was elected unopposed as South East Chairman in 2006, by the membership of the South East of England and appointed as National Operations Director by the National Council in 2009.
